Step by Step Dance Studio Dancers of Waltham, MA will hold their "Let Your Heart Move Your Feet" Valentine Gala to support The Andréa Rizzo Foundation. It will take place at the American Legion Post 440 at 295 California Street, Newton, MA on Saturday evening, February 9th. The semi-formal event will include an SBS performance, special guest performers, hors d'oeuvres, a DJ, dancing and lots of prizes. Tickets are on sale at office@stepbystepinc.com

SRU Dance team at Salve Regina University will hold a benefit performance at Rodger's Recreation Center at 7pm.
Not Just Dance, LLC will hold a dance-a-thon in Clermont, Florida to benefit Dréa's Dream on November 2nd.
All That Dance in Jackson, NJ held a dance-a-thon to benefit Dréa's Dream pediatric dance therapy programming on October 20, 2012.
Lake Washington High School Dance, along with eight other high school dance teams in Washington, will host its first annual “Drea’s Dream: Friday Night Lights” event, which will showcase a wide variety of dance styles throughout the night. Lindsey Beck will oversee the event, which will take place on Friday, August 24 on the Lake Washington High School football field, located at 12033 NE 80th Street.
“Dance Across America” is one of many fundraising efforts created by The Andréa Rizzo Foundation, a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt organization dedicated to bringing dance therapy to children with cancer and special needs in pediatric hospitals, including Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA, public schools, and Ronald McDonald houses across the country. Created in memory of a young dance therapy graduate student and survivor of childhood cancer, killed by a drunk driver at the age of 24, the Foundation aspires to bring dancers together to blend dance and compassion. Dancers of all ages and in all parts of the country can make a difference in the lives of fragile children by doing what they love best…dancing!
The Drea’s Dream: Friday Night Lights event will be hosted by Emerald City Productions and will feature burgers by BUNS and ice cream sandwiches from Sweet Wheels. The event will begin at 6:00pm, and a $5 minimum donation will be required for admission, with proceeds benefiting Dance Across America. A photo booth provided by Division1Studios will also be featured at the event, in addition to T-shirt sales and games throughout the night.

Stamford, CT—Center Stage Dance Studio, located on High Ridge Road in Stamford, has recently pledged their support for The Andréa Rizzo Foundation’s nationwide fundraising effort, “Dance Across America.” The dance studio will hold a dance recital on Sunday, May 20, at the Palace Theatre at 61 Atlantic Street in Stamford, where students will dance to make a difference in the lives of fragile children.

Center Stage owner and director JoAnn LoRusso will over see 200 dancers ages 3 to 18, as they showcase their talents in various styles, including jazz, tap, ballet, and creative movement. The recital, open to the public, will take place at 1:00 p.m., and tickets will cost $24.00 for orchestra/grand tier seating and $22.00 for balcony seating, available at the door.
